The Quality Policy of the University of Ioannina (UoI) is part of its strategic planning and specializes in its areas of action. It sets out the principles of operation of the Internal Quality Assurance System (I.Q.A.S.) and the continuous improvement of the Foundation's education, research and other services, responds to the demand for public-social accountability and creates a framework for participation and synergy of all stakeholders.
Purpose of Quality Policy in UoI is the development of a quality culture within the academic community so that the University can be established as a Higher Education Institution (HEI) with international recognition and reputation for the excellence it provides, research and innovation, academic and professioanal the ethics of its graduates, the knowledge and know-how it produces, the scientific contribution of its teaching and research staff, and the exploitation of the results of science and technology for the benefit of society.
