The Department has set up a three-member Internal Evaluation Team (IN.E.T.), which has undertaken the evaluation procedures of the Department. Every year it submits to QU.AS.U. of the Foundation the Annual Internal Report, which includes aggregate data with quantitive data for students, teachers, other scientific and teaching staff, Curricula, administrative staff and any other issues related to the operation of the Department, as well as proposals improvement and tergeting for the coming years.
The department has submitted for certification the new study program "Informatics and Telecommunications", documenting in detail (within 480 pages):
a) the academic physiognomy and orientation of the curriculum,
b) the learning outcomes and the required qualifications according to the National Higher Education Qualifications Framework,
c) the structure and organization of the curriculum,
d) the quality and effectiveness of the teaching work
e) the appropriatness of the qualifications of the teaching staff,
f) the quality of the research work of the academic unit,
g) the degree of connection between teaching and research,
h) the demand in the labor market of the acquired qualifications and
i) the quality of support services, such as administration, libraries and student care services.
