Degree mark calculation


Graduation grade is deduced to two (2) decimal places and is derived from the formula:


                                  δ1β1 + δ2β2 + ...... + δνβν

                         B = --------------------------------

                                     δ1 + δ2 + ......... + δv


where β1, β2, ..... βv are the grades of all the courses attended by the student and δ1, δ2, ..... δν, the corresponding units of study, corresponding to the weekly hours of teaching each lesson.


Α student of the department is considered a graduate  after all the requirements, in accordance with paragraph 5 of Article 27 of Law 1404/1983, have been fulfilled, and in particular by the date submitted by a protocol of the School.




To the students of the department the following certificates and diplomas are awarded:

  1. Certificate of student status
  2. Graduation certificate
  3. Degrees


Certificate of student status is a copy of the student's grade. The graduation certificate is a copy of the degree.


The type of the degree is determined in accordance with paragraph 8 of article 27 of law 1404/1983. The degree rating of graduates of the department. is defined as follows:

from 5-6.9 good,

from 7 to 8.4 very well,

from 8.5 to 10 excellent.


All grades are computed and recorded with an approximation of one tenth of the integer unit.
